Heartfelt Condolences: Airin Smitha Thomas Passes Away After Battling Rare Neurological Disorder
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our member, Airin Smitha Thomas daughter of Thomas and Smitha from Town Centre was called to her eternal abode this evening March 4.
Airin was suffering from a rare neurological condition called POLG mitochondrial disorder which was diagnosed in 2022.

Raymol Nidhiry from WMA Appointed as UUKMA National Joint Secretary

Tessy Aji and Rajesh Nadeppilly Appointed to UUKMA South West Regional Committee

Wiltshire Malayalee Association Launches 2025 Membership Drive
Wiltshire, UK – February 5, 2025 – The Wiltshire Malayalee Association (WMA) proudly announces the launch of its 2025 membership campaign, inviting Malayalees across Wiltshire to become part of a vibrant and welcoming community.
The campaign, which begins today, aims to bring together individuals and families who share a love for Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and values. Announced by the President, Secretary, and Treasurer, this initiative reflects WMA’s commitment to preserving traditions, fostering unity, and supporting charitable causes.
Founded in 2004, WMA has grown from a small gathering of Malayalee families in Swindon into a registered charity and a thriving cultural hub. Today, WMA serves as a ‘home away from home’ for Malayalees in Wiltshire, offering cultural programs, educational workshops, welfare initiatives, and networking opportunities.
Membership provides access to grand celebrations of Onam and Christmas, skill-development activities, and dedicated platforms for youth and women’s empowerment. WMA welcomes all Malayalees in Wiltshire to join and contribute to its mission of inclusivity and cultural preservation.
